With a grace, maturity and talent far beyond her 18 years, Daniela Bobadilla continues to steadily make her mark in Hollywood. The raven-haired beauty was seen as “Emma” in the critically acclaimed NBC’s drama Awake, and stars as Charlie Sheen’s high octane obsessive compulsive daughter in Anger Management, FX’s comedy that returns in January. Desperate Housewives fans also saw Daniela on Wisteria Lane as Eva Longoria’s long lost stepsister. She was recently named by Yahoo! TV as one of the most notable young actresses of 2012.
Daniela began performing from an early age and was discovered by Ann Serrano Lopez who cast her to play George Lopez’s daughter in the Nickelodeon television movie Mr. Troop. It wasn’t long before she began guest starring on such highly rated television shows as CW’s Smallville and Supernatural, and FOX’s Lie To Me opposite Tim Roth. These roles brought her further attention making her one of the most-watched and buzzed about young actors on television. Soon Daniela landed her first starring role in the Lifetime original movie Lies in Plain Sight with Rosie Perez, and then went on to star in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie Oliver’s Ghost.
Born in Mexico City, her family moved to Vancouver, Canada where Daniela fell in love with musical theatre. Throughout her middle school years, she performed in more than 17 theatrical productions, including Fiddler on the Roof (Chava), High School Musical (Gabriella Montez) and Wizard of Oz (Dorothy).
