Jenn Lyon is best known to television audiences for playing ‘Lindsey Salazar’, the shotgun-wielding bartender and paramour of ‘Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens’ in Seasons 3 and 4 of FX’s Peabody award-winning drama Justified. Lyon currently stars in FX’s new comedy Saint George portraying ‘Mackenzie Bradford-Lopez’, the All-American ex-wife of George Lopez. In addition, Lyon can be seen playing Cheryl Hines’ sister, ‘Georgia’, in the current season of ABC’s hit series Suburgatory, and has appeared in Army Wives, the Emmy award-winning comedy Louie, and HBO’s Emmy and Golden Globe nominated telepic Phil Spector.
An established stage actress, Lyon recently starred in the new production of His Girl Friday at the La Jolla Playhouse and prior to that, opened the World Premiere of John Guare's new play Are You There McPhee?. She also starred in Born Yesterday which received rave reviews, Noises Off, Twelfth Night and Crimes of Heart. Additionally, Lyon appeared on Broadway in the original American production of Tom Stoppard’s trilogy, The Coast of Utopia: Voyage, Shipwreck, Salvage opposite Ethan Hawke, Billy Crudup, Martha Plimpton and Jennifer Ehle. The production won a record-setting eleven Tony Awards.
Lyon co-founded, produces, writes and acts in the New York-based online sketch comedy troupe, Poykpac, who have received national attention on the TODAY Show, IFC and MTV. The group also won the SyFy TV show competition Viral Video Showdown as well as several awards for their cutting edge humor. Additionally, the group has produced a series for IFC and original video content for leading online comedy sites such as Above Average, Funny or Die and College Humor, among others. To date, the group’s YouTube channel has garnered more than 80 million views.
Lyon received a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and resides in Brooklyn, New York.
