Do their movements in “Bed” appear like a beautiful dance? There’s a good reason. A choreographer was brought on set to teach Matthew and Keri the careful, horizontal moves. It didn’t take long for the two to master them.
Too close for comfort? For “Hidden,” a small closet was constructed with three walls for this claustrophobic spot, which prompted the cast to crack jokes between takes about their close proximity. But as soon as “action” was shouted, Keri and Matthew snapped back into their roles as cold-blooded assassins.
On set: Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys. The entire promotional shoot took place in only one day on a soundstage in Brooklyn, NY. The stage was broken up into four sections, each with a different completed set to ensure an efficient shoot.
For the spot entitled “Dinner Table,” hand dimmers were used to change the mood from normal to dire once the children left the room. The scene required perfect timing as the lights, camera movement, and talent needed to be in perfect synchronicity.
