Are we going to see this on free TV in Perth this year ?
I've been catching up on past episodes of the current season of Tyrant via Comcast On Demand. Really enjoy watching, but - it is getting tiresome watching the same Dodge commercial at every commercial break. So, pass this on to the money folks, and Dodge, too - I'd rather crawl than drive a Dodge.
Moran and Asraf are great for these roles. An extreme power hugry family in different ways with psychological make p to boot. Great acting! Edge of my seat Tuesday. Sammi came to the rescue and Barry well he was just Barry! Molly saved the day$ Always about money!
(NOTE: Last week, I worked late AND forgot to record it, and this week, I recorded BOTH episodes, but worked a double, so I was too tired to watch them on Wednesday, so this is clearly late...lolol) HOLY **** HOLY **** HOLY ****!!!! 1.) Leila!!! HOMIE! Not ONLY did she get back into my good book, lol, but she saved her relationship with her son, and by defying her crazy *** husband, saved her country! You go girl!!! I'm also glad you guys didn't write it so that she had the heart to kill her husband. That would've sealed the deal on her being the cold, heartless, power-hungry b**** I thought she was. As usual, however, your writers bring out aspects of her personality no one knew was there. I was secretly hoping she wasn't REALLY the cold hearted "heffa" I thought she was anyway. LOL. 2. Ahmed! DUDE! You DO have a pair!!! I was beginning to worry that you'd be a pawn forever! I'm SO glad you stood up for yourself and held your parents accountable for the HELL they've caused. I'm upset you saw your wife, whom you genuinely love, flirting with the brother who was given everything you wanted by your father, but I'm glad you finally saw that it was your MOTHER who wanted her gone and your FATHER who tried to kill your brother and got your grandmother killed instead. 3. Molly! GIRL! You have gained ALL KINDS of cool points! I'm SO SO SO glad your strength is finally out there for the world to see. I'm also glad the writers didn't write you as a TOTAL stone-cold-gangsta so that you seeing Leila vulnerable and desperate would inspire you to comfort her AND enlist her help to save your husband...(did anyone else see, though, how relieved Leila was that Barry was alive when she was talking to Molly?? Ooooooh girl your I-wish-Barry-was-my-boo-thang is showing! LOL) I'm also happy that you convinced the General to stick around long enough to get Rami out of prison to lead the troops. You have MUCHO cool points after tonight! 4. Sammy! DUDE! This war and all its casualties, as heartbreaking as they are to watch, (first, your lover in Abuddin, then the girl who was crushing on you in Ma'an) it has truly shown your character that the world revolves around more than just you and your problems. Your bravery and selflessness these last two weeks has been refreshing to watch, and I now find myself hoping you DON'T get punched in your face for talking sideways to someone, lolol! Seriously, though, Tyrant writers, thank you for not KEEPING Sammy a spoiled little PRAT who doesn't care about anyone but himself. 5. Bassam. Dude. I don't know that there's enough space on Facebook to explain just how awesomely, all-around, AMAZING you are. You are brave, selfless, SMART, and let's not forget, FINE AS HELL, lol, and, looking at the previews of the finale and being the fortune-teller I am, (NOT, lolol) hopefully the next leader of Abuddin. That country needs you more than you know. You said that you're done with war, and hopefully, if you DO become President, you'll rule so that you never have to fight another one, but you are the BEST leader for the country. 6. Jamal. My dear sweet Jamal. I thought that after the ****** of your crazed uncle, (which, as opposed as I am to ******, I wasn't too torn up about, lol) that you would be done with allowing others to make horrible decisions for you or influence you in a way that would cause you to make horrible decisions. I hate to say that I was terribly wrong. Since then, you've had EVERY chance to make the right choices, and with the promotion of your smart and experienced-in-fighting-wars son, Rami, I was SURE you were headed for getting your country out of the HELL your uncle put you in. It would seem that you are hellbent in acting first and thinking later. This is not the mark of a man who has to be an effective leader of a COUNTRY. SMH. I don't want to admit it, because I've always thought that a great leader who would lead for the love and protection of his people was in you, but your recent EXTREME paranoia, COMBINED with the attempted ****** of your SON turning into the actual ****** of your own MOTHER, (although I will say that if she hadn't questioned him so many times about why the car needed to be stopped, she'd probably still be alive) I think you were right in Season 1 about wanting to leave Abuddin and live in peace somewhere. With the hell you were put through as a child, which led to the bad decisions you're now making as President, I think it's time for you to revisit that option. I wish you the best though. 7. Tyrant writers??? You guys are AMAZING! I can't WAIT to see the finale...although that'll mean that this AMAZING season is officially over and I'll be sad and nervous until I hear that you've been picked up for a third season. LOL. Keep up the good work and quit it with all the ill-timed commercials, LMAO. Every time I want to know what's going to happen next, it is interrupted by my TV's volume magically going to the maximum level to attempt to sell me stuff I don't want to buy. I know you guys have to pay bills over there at FX, but DANG! LOL. :P ;)
