David Bradley stars as "Abraham Setrakian" - a pawnbroker in his 80's with the vigor of a much younger man. In his early teens, Setrakian first encountered the Master during his internment at a Nazi concentration camp. Setrakian failed to kill him then, and has spent his life waiting and preparing for another opportunity.
Bradley is best known for playing "Argus Filch" in the Harry Potter films, as well as for his roles in The World's End, Captain America: The First Avenger and Mike Leigh's Another Year. His notable television credits include Game of Thrones, Broadchurch and Doctor Who.
Bradley is also an acclaimed stage actor with a career that includes Laurence Olivier Award nominations for his roles in No Man's Land and Henry IV Part I & II and winner of Best Actor in a Supporting Role for King Lear. He was the winner of the 1993 Clarence Derwent Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role of Polonius in Hamlet and Shallow in Henry IV Part II.
