Actress and writer Jenny Mollen is a familiar face on the big and small screen. An Arizona native and graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Jenny’s television credits include Suits, CSI: NY, Crash, Viva Laughlin and the WB series Angel, where she portrayed the iconic character of ‘Nina Ash.’ Jenny’s feature credits include D.E.B.S., My Best Friend’s Girl, L!fe Happens and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Her most recent film, the sci-fi thriller Extracted, held its world premiere at the South By Southwest Film Festival.
Jenny’s irreverent writing was first showcased in Kidnapping Caitlynn, a short film she wrote and starred in alongside Julie Benz and Jason Biggs. Today, Jenny’s column What She Said is featured on Playboy Online’s The Smoking Jacket. Jenny’s outrageous observations and pearls of wisdom keep her loyal legion of Twitter followers laughing and after being heralded by The Huffington Post as one of the funniest women on Twitter (@jennyandteets), Jenny has just closed a deal with St. Martin’s Press.
Her book entitled I Like You Just The Way I Am will tell the tales of Jenny stalking her therapist, punching her best friend in the eye (as a favor), acting on impulses, plotting elaborate hoaxes, and refusing to acknowledge boundaries in any form. It is scheduled for release mid 2014.
"Jenny Mollen is a talented, unique, and flat-out hilarious new voice," said St. Martin's Press Editor Yaniv Soha. "She's much more than the sum of her tweets."
Jenny resides in Los Angeles with two poodle angel muffins, and an asshole miniature pinscher. She also has a husband.
