Dave Becky

Executive Producer

Dave Becky, partner at 3 Arts Entertainment, plays an integral role in the development and production of both television and film properties, as well as shepherding the careers of some of today’s actors, writers and comedians.

Becky was born in Montana and raised in California. After starting his career in entertainment as a comedy club manager at the Improv in San Diego, Becky moved to Los Angeles to become a segment producer on Dennis Miller’s syndicated talk show. He then joined 3 Arts Entertainment in 1994 as a talent manager specializing in the representation of writers and performers. Becky subsequently branched into film and television production.

In addition to Louie, Becky is currently producing Comedy Central’s Broad City and BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood alongside Kevin Hart. Becky’s executive producing credits also include: Everybody Hates Chris (UPN), Bored to Death (HBO) and Lucky Louie (HBO). He has also produced comedy specials from Louis C.K., Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari and Bill Burr.

Becky is married to Lainie Sorkin and has three children, Eve, Cash, and Cruz. He and his family reside in Brentwood.
