Robert Kelly stars as Hector “Bam Bam” Jimenez, a talented drummer who has always been the backbone of The Heathens rock band, musically and emotionally. Best friends with everyone in it – even during the 25 years when none of them were speaking to each other – Bam has never given up on the dream of bringing the family back together. He came from a broken home and always saw Flash and Johnny as father figures. He considers Ava to be a sister and Rehab his older brother. Bam’s signature percussive ability has led to big gig touring duty with The Pogues and several other notable bands, including a prominent Indie side project as one half of the EDM DJ duo “Beastcore.” However, family remains priority number one, and nothing would make him happier than the rock-and-roll band heading back out on the road and into the studio. He’s been clean and sober for two decades now, but still has some issues with food. Mostly pizza. And cupcakes. And candy. Okay – so it’s more of an addiction.

Robert Kelly’s comedy is deeply rooted in his own life and relationships, which makes it honest, abrasively funny, yet refreshingly vulnerable. He has been winning over audiences for years touring clubs, colleges and theaters, including repeat performances at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival.

His new one-hour special Robert Kelly: Live at the Village Underground debuted on Comedy Central and is now available on Netflix. Besides being a fixture on Comedy Central, he can also be seen as Louis C.K.’s brother “Robbie” on the hit FX comedy series Louie. Kelly’s other acting credits include roles in Trainwreck, Maron, Benders, Nurse Jackie and Inside Amy Schumer. Kelly currently hosts the top-rated podcast You Know What Dude? which can be found on iTunes. Kelly is also the co-founder of the RiotCast podcasting network.
