Edgar Quintero

Edgar used to be Jimmy's pot dealer in college, but the two lost touch when Edgar joined the Army and did a couple tours in Iraq. Now back home, Edgar finds himself grappling with PTSD and searching for his place in the world. Now that he’s found a passion for improv comedy and a girlfriend, his search has a little more direction.

Edgar and Jimmy reconnected a few years ago when Jimmy found him living on the streets. Now Edgar lives with Jimmy rent-free. In exchange, Edgar does light housework and cooks all of Jimmy's meals. Though Jimmy would be the last to admit it, Edgar has become his closest (and probably only) friend.

Desmin Borges first came to prominence with his award-winning, breakout performance of "Mace" in the Pulitzer Prize nominated The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity at the Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago. This quickly led to critically-acclaimed runs of the show at the Second Stage in New York and the Geffen in Los Angeles.

Borges parlayed his stage success into the film and television world, where he appeared opposite Jim Carrey in Mr. Popper’s Penguins and Ben Stiller in Tower Heist. Other films include Compliance (Sundance), Almost Christmas (Tribeca) and The Mend (SXSW). On television, Borges appeared in The Mysteries of Laura, Castle, The Good Wife, Law & Order: SVU, Preacher and a series role on Next Caller.

Upcoming shows include the new HBO series Divorce with Sarah Jessica Parker and the film Carrie Pilby with Bel Powley.

Borges lives in New York.
