Born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, she moved permanently to Denmark with her father at the age of five. After graduating from Copenhagen Business School, she immersed herself in film, working as an extra and location assistant, until she was cast in her first role in the television series Warrior (Miso Film/TV2 Danmark).In 2019, Camille starred in her first short film, Doll, which she also wrote and directed. Doll was incredibly well received and won various awards, including Best Actress in an Indie Film and Best First Time Director at the 2019 New York Film Awards. From 2020 to 2022, she played “Lina” in the hit TV2 crime series The Sommerdahl Murders (Sequoia Global Alliance). Other notable screen credits include “Sister Martha” in The Great Silence (Monolit Film), “Alyona” in Alex Rider (Prime Video), “Tsutama Rath” in The Wheel of Time (Sony Pictures Television/Prime Video) and “Esi” in the upcoming Hulu series Washington Black (Indian Meadows Productions).Camille was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Television Role and Best Short Television Series at the 2023 Danish Academy Awards for Bad Bitch, which she created, wrote and played the lead role, “Nikki.” This marked the first Danish television series with a black main cast.
