Career Highlights

Billie Lourd’s work in film and television showcases a depth of talent well beyond her years. She most recently starred in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl alongside Pamela Anderson, Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis, Adulthood directed by Alex Winter and was heard in the animated Smurfs movie alongside Rihanna.&nbsp; On television, Lourd guest starred on Hulu’s Mid-Century Modern, starring Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham. Additionally, she starred in Installment 11 of Ryan Murphy and FX’s American Horror Story: NYC as well as in American Horror Stories. Her previous roles in the American Horror Story franchise include Double Feature, 1984, Apocalypse and Cult.&nbsp; Recent and upcoming projects include Luca Guadagnino’s Artificial; the comedy That Friend, co-starring Harvey Guillén and Josh Brener which premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival; the crime thriller The Deputy, alongside Duke Nicholson, William H. Macy, Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Dorff and Julia Fox; Season 4 of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Monster anthology for Netflix opposite Ella Beatty, Charlie Hunnam, Vicky Krieps, Rebecca Hall and Jessica Barden; and two projects that recently premiered at SXSW: The Pirate King, which she is also producing through her production company, Morning Moon Productions; and Love Language, with Chloë Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos and Lukas Gage.&nbsp; Lourd also starred as Chanel #3 in two seasons of Ryan Murphy’s FOX series Scream Queens. The comedy-horror series, which centers around a string of murders at a sorority house and later a hospital, also starred Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Keke Palmer and Glen Powell.&nbsp; She made her feature film debut in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and reprised her role as Lieutenant Connix in Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). Lourd also appeared in Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut Booksmart (2019), alongside Jason Sudeikis, Lisa Kudrow and Will Forte; the transatlantic comedy And Mrs (2024) with Colin Hanks and Aisling Bea; starred in Universal’s romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise (2022) alongside George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, and Lucas Bravo; and had a role in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie (2025) alongside The Jonas Brothers.&nbsp; Lourd is a partner at Morning Moon Productions alongside Ethan Lazar, Kyle Owens and Austen Rydell. The company has had projects premiere at the Venice Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and SXSW.&nbsp; She is a graduate of New York University and currently resides in Los Angeles.
