American Horror Story

Brad Falchuk is a co-creator, executive producer, writer and director of FX's critically acclaimed series American Horror Story, FX’s Emmy®-winning show Pose for which Michaela Jaé Rodriguez won a Golden Globe® in 2022 for her performance, the Emmy-winning limited series American Crime Story, FOX’s Scream Queens and 9-1-1. Recently, Falchuk co-created the Golden Globe-nominated Netflix series The Politician for which he served as an executive producer, writer and director.&nbsp;American Horror Story has received 98 Emmy nominations including four for Outstanding Miniseries. The hit series has also garnered nine Golden Globe nominations including two for Best Television Series- Drama. Jessica Lange won the 2012 Golden Globe, and Lady Gaga won the 2016 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries.&nbsp;Previously, Falchuk served as executive producer on the critically acclaimed FX series Nip/Tuck for which he also wrote and directed numerous episodes. Additionally, Falchuk was a co-creator and executive producer on the hit FOX comedy series Glee. For his work on Glee, Falchuk earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, three Writers Guild of America Award nominations and two Producers Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television. Glee won six of its 35 Emmy nominations. The show also garnered 10 Golden Globe nominations and won the 2010 and 2011 Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical award.&nbsp;Falchuk is one of the founding members of The Young Storytellers Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop literacy through the art of storytelling. Serving more than 100 schools in Los Angeles, New York City and Denmark, The Young Storytellers Foundation facilitates self-expression in underprivileged fourth graders by mentoring them through the process of writing their own short screenplays and having those screenplays performed by famous actors. Falchuk currently sits on the National Advisory Board for the foundation. In 2020, he received the Writers Guild of America West’s Valentine Davies Award in recognition of his positive impact on young writers through his work and efforts to improve literacy and promote self-confidence through arts education in schools.&nbsp;After a prolific decade at 20th Television, Falchuk signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix. He will develop, write, produce and direct new series for Netflix through his Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision banner including the upcoming show The Brothers Sun.&nbsp;Falchuk received his master’s degree from the American Film Institute. He currently resides in Los Angeles. He would like to thank Bruce Springsteen and David Ortiz for making him into the man he is today.&nbsp;
