Kevin Bray began his career directing music videos and commercials. After his first two features, All About the Benjamins and Walking Tall, he found his way to television. From directing the pilots of Suits and Unprisoned to two episodes of Succession (for which he was nominated for a DGA award), Bray went on to half-hour and hour-long television, directing comedies and dramas. Bray has since directed episodes of Insecure, Black-ish, The Americans, Loot, The Morning Show, Snowfall, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Rap Sh!t. He also directed an episode of Shameless and three episodes of The Patient, a limited series starring Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson at FX.
