Treat Williams was most recently seen in David Simon’s HBO limited series We Own This City opposite Jon Bernthal. Williams began his career as “Danny Zuko” in Grease on Broadway, then landed the coveted roles of “Berger” in the movie Hair and “Danny Ciello” in Prince of the City, launching a film career that lasted over 40 years.His film credits include The Ritz; 1941; The Eagle Has Landed; Smooth Talk (First Prize—Sundance); Once Upon A Time In America; the outrageous “Critical Bill” in Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead; Deep Rising; The Phantom; The Deep End of the Ocean; The Devil’s Own; What Happens in Vegas; Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending; 127 Hours; and The Congressman.Williams was also seen in the Emmy® Award-winning Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square and 12 Mighty Orphans. On television, he recently played Ted Kennedy in HBO's Confirmation and starred as “Dr. Andy Brown” on the critically acclaimed Everwood, for which he earned two Screen Actors Guild nominations for Best Actor. He acted in The Late Shift (Emmy nomination), A Streetcar Named Desire (Golden Globe® nomination) and has guested on Law &amp; Order: SVU, White Collar, Chicago Fire, Blue Bloods and on The Simpsons as himself. He starred as “Mick O'Brien” on the Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores, the most-watched show in the network’s history.He starred on Broadway in Grease, Over Here, Once in a Lifetime, Pirates of Penzance, Love Letters and Stephen Sondheim’s Follies (Theater World Award) and off-Broadway in Captains Courageous (Drama League Award). He played “Teach” in David Mamet’s American Buffalo at the Dorset Theatre Festival. Williams did a reading of his play, Grant: An Evening With The General, at the Great Barrington Public Theater to great acclaim. He also appeared as Tom Selleck’s partner in Blue Bloods and The Christmas House 2 on Hallmark.
