Diego Esaú Gómez Medina represents the heart and soul of Club Necaxa. Born September 2003 in Pabellón de Arteaga, Aguascalientes, his passion for the game and for his hometown has shaped every step of his journey.Gómez came up through Necaxa's youth teams and steadily worked his way to the first team, where he's made over 50 appearances in Liga MX. Despite his young age, he has shown maturity, skill and a competitive edge, highlighted by key performances and goals in Mexico's top division.His story is that of a local talent who joined the Club with a dream and worked tirelessly to make it a reality. With discipline and determination, he continues to grow within the squad, proudly wearing the only professional jersey he's ever known. His progress has also earned him spots in Mexico's youth national teams, adding international experience to his résumé.Gómez is still writing his story, chasing new goals and making his mark every time he steps onto the pitch.
