Christian Lees stars as Glen Matlock, Sex Pistols’ original bass guitarist. A talented musician and songwriter, Glen’s family is a little higher up the social ladder than his band mates. This causes constant tension with Johnny. Eventually Steve is emotionally blackmailed into sacking Glen for Johnny’s mate Sid, who fits the image gloriously, but not the musical requirements.

Lees recently starred in a lead role in The Phantom of the Open directed by Craig Roberts and written by the team behind the Paddington film franchise, opposite Mark Rylance and Sally Phillips. Lees appears as a major recurring role across several seasons of the acclaimed ABC drama Speechless opposite Minnie Driver. His other TV credits include playing the lead role of Jerry Lee Lewis in CMT’s Sun Records.His film credits include Tale of Tales starring opposite Salma Hayek and John C. Reilly, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival, Gutpunch and The Long Lonely Walk.
