Wrexham born and bred, Lili Jones returned to her hometown club in 2021 having previously represented the Club's Girls Performance Centre. The defender or midfielder played with Everton in between and has represented Wales up to Under-17 level.
Jones captained the Wrexham AFC Women Under-19s to back-to-back league titles in the Genero Adran U19s North, as well as scoring on her senior debut and becoming a key part of the senior team over the same two seasons. Jones was still studying for her secondary-school exams when she made her Wrexham debut.
Having been instrumental to the team's successful first season in the Genero Adran Premier, she was named the league's Young Player of the Season in 2024 and picked up the same award at Club level too.
A defender or midfielder, she also has an interest in music, inherited from her late father. Her dad – a popular and well-known Wrexham supporter – passed away in April 2021. Jones is a fluent Welsh speaker.
