Garrett Basch is an award-winning film and television producer whose recent work includes&nbsp;Our Flag Means Death, Reservation Dogs, Dispatches from Elsewhere, Barkskins, Diagnosis, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Life Itself, What We Do in the Shadows&nbsp;and&nbsp;The Night Of.

"Nandor The Relentless," portrayed by Kayvan Novak, is a fierce Ottoman warrior and a caller of house meetings. He is the de facto head of the vampire household, and despite his reputation as a conqueror, he’s actually a bit of a softy. He was hard hit when he learned that his country, Al Quolanudar, was dissolved in the 15th century and no one thought to tell him.

"Laszlo Cravensworth," portrayed by Matt Berry, is a man of many talents. It’s impossible to measure the immense effect he’s had on culture, but throughout his life he’s been a musician, an artist and a pornographer. He is a dapper man and will do almost anything to make a fashion statement, including wearing a cursed witch skin hat. In his spare time, he loves to tend to his topiaries and prized among them are representations of vulvas he has known and loved. An erudite, an autodidact and a literal Renaissance man, Laszlo is also a man of (18th Century) science.&nbsp;

Before she was a vampire, "Nadja," portrayed by Natasia Demetriou, was a simple peasant girl from Antipaxos, a tiny island in the Mediterranean. Her foray into running her own nightclub resulted in some mild arson and an unfruitful insurance claim. Also, the spirit of the ghost of the human Nadja before she technically died and became a vampire lives on in her little sidekick, the Nadja Doll.&nbsp;

"Guillermo," portrayed by Harvey Guillén, is Nandor’s human familiar and has wanted to be a vampire since he was a kid. He does chores around the house and keeps the vampires in human blood but this part of the job has started to wear on him since finding out that he is a distant relative of Van Helsing, the famous vampire hunter. He loves his master, but his impatience with waiting to be turned into a vampire has led him to take drastic steps, with unforeseen consequences.&nbsp;

"Colin Robinson," portrayed by Mark Proksch, is a day-walking vampire who thrives in an office environment where small talk is plentiful and reply-all email chains abound. Then he died, then an infant version of him clawed its way out of his corpse’s chest cavity, then he grew back to full adulthood in just a few short months, and now he is still around and still annoying.&nbsp;

"The Guide," portrayed by Kristen Schaal, is a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help, if only anyone would ever ask her. Now that she’s free of the responsibilities of the Vampiric Council and Nadja’s nightclub, she’s happy to have more time to spend with her friends, who don’t seem to even notice that she’s around. It’s hard fitting in and hanging out when everyone else has known each other for hundreds of years.&nbsp;
