Jonathan Krisel is an 11-time Emmy-nominated director, writer and showrunner. He is known for co-creating, writing and directing shows such as IFC’s “Portlandia,” starring Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen, FX’s “Baskets” and Showtime’s “Moonbase 8.”His early career started with comedy duo Tim &amp; Eric, having directed and edited episodes of “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” and “Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule.” Krisel has also directed for “Saturday Night Live,” and was an executive producer and director for Comedy Central’s “Kroll Show” and FXX’s “Man Seeking Woman.”Most recently, Krisel was an executive producer and director on FX’s “English Teacher" and "Adults.” He also executive produced and directed the HBO series “Rooster," which was just renewed for a second season.
