<p>Sarah Naftalis is a writer and executive producer, and this is her second season as part of the “Adults” team. She joined the show following five seasons as a writer for FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows.” In 2022, Naftalis was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for her Season 3 episode, “The Casino.” She was nominated in the same category in 2025 for the Season 6 episode “The Finale,” which she co-wrote.</p><p>Naftalis recently wrote an episode for the “Beavis and Butt-Head" revival series, and she was previously a contributor to The Onion. Originally from New York City, she received her bachelor’s degree in American studies from Yale University and her master’s degree in art history from Stanford University.</p>
