Most recently, he was seen in the independent feature The Return starring Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024. Bar-El also recently appeared in the acclaimed BBC Two/Roughcut Television comedy We Might Regret This.Previous television credits include CBS Studios’ Dinner with the Parents, Prime Video’s The Peripheral, BBC One/Sister Pictures series Better and ITV’s Count Abdulla, as well as Apple TV+’s Tehran, ITV’s miniseries Honour, Canal+’s The Bureau, Snatch, Apple TV+’s Invasion, Channel 4’s PhoneShop and Tyrant.In film, Bar-El was most recently seen in Words of War starring Maxine Peake. Previous films include Agile Films BAFTA-winning Femme, Warner Bros.’ Dune: Part Two, BBC Film’s Zero and BALDR Film’s Mitra.Theater credits include You Bury Me at Orange Tree Theatre, Everyday I Make Greatness Happen at the Hampstead Theatre (for which Bar-El received an Olivier nomination), the San Francisco transfer of The Jungle and Welcome to Iran at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
