Brad Falchuk | Executive Producer | American Crime Story on FX
Brad Falchuk is a co-creator, executive producer, writer and director of FX’s Golden Globe® nominated show Pose. He is also co-creator, executive producer, writer and director of FX's critically acclaimed series American Horror Story, the Emmy®-winning limited series American Crime Story, FOX’s Scream Queens and 9-1-1. Most recently, Falchuk co-created the Golden Globe nominated Netflix series The Politician, for which he served as an executive producer, writer and director.
American Horror Story has received 98 Emmy nominations, including four for Outstanding Miniseries. The hit series has also garnered nine Golden Globe nominations including two for Best Television Series (Drama). Jessica Lange won the 2012 Golden Globe and Lady Gaga won the 2016 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries.
Previously, Falchuk served as executive producer on the critically acclaimed cable series Nip/Tuck, on which he also wrote and directed numerous episodes. Additionally, Falchuk was co-creator and executive producer on the hit FOX comedy series Glee. For his work on Glee, Falchuk earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, three Writers Guild of America Award nominations and two Producers Guild Award nominations for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television. Glee won six of its 35 Emmy nominations. The show also garnered 10 Golden Globe nominations and won the 2010 and 2011 Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical) Award.
Falchuk is one of the founding members of The Young Storytellers Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop literacy through the art of storytelling. Serving more than 100 schools in Los Angeles, New York City and Denmark, The Young Storytellers Foundation facilitates self-expression in underprivileged fourth graders by mentoring them through the process of writing their own short screenplays and having those screenplays performed by famous actors. Falchuk currently sits on the National Advisory Board for the foundation.
After a prolific decade at 20th Century Fox Television, Falchuk recently signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix. He will develop, write, produce and direct new series for Netflix through his Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision banner.
