New York City native Kathryn Dean is an accomplished producer known for delivering bold, award-winning films and television. She has produced two feature films that each earned four Academy Award® nominations—Winter's Bone and Hell or High Water—and received an Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Television Movie for The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. In addition to producing English Teacher, Dean also produced FX's Peabody-winning Reservation Dogs, the Emmy-winning hit Atlanta, Taika Waititi's Next Goal Wins and Taylor Sheridan's Those Who Wish Me Dead. Dean continues to expand her creative scope as an emerging director on English Teacher Season 2.
