Nicotera was born in Germany where he attended school on the American Military Bases abroad, his family later transferred to Italy before finally moving to England where Niko spent most of his adolescent and teen years nurturing his interest in theater and drama.
After graduating from high school, Niko moved to London to attend The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, where he studied classical theater for three years, during which time he was selected to represent his school at the William Pole Festival for Classical Theater held at The Globe Theater in London, and for the BBC’s yearly radio competition.
Niko graduated from theater school and went on to work in various TV and film productions for British and American TV before moving to Los Angeles where he now resides.
