Dan Shotz is an executive producer of The Old Man and the new adaptation of the popular book series Percy Jackson & the Olympians for Disney+. Shotz executive produced See for Apple TV+ and executive produced the STARZ series Black Sails, which won three Primetime Emmy® Awards.
Prior to that, Shotz was a partner with director Jon Turteltaub at Junction Entertainment, having developed and produced the series Common Law for the USA Network as well as Harper’s Island and cult-favorite Jericho for CBS.
He is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
