Chris Long is an English director and producer who has worked internationally on some of television’s most successful shows and earned awards and recognition from the Emmy® Awards, Golden Globes®, Producers Guild Awards, AFI Awards, TCA Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Peabody Awards and the DGA Awards.
Long was an executive producer of FX’s hit series The Americans and was the show’s most prolific director. In addition, he executive produced one of TV’s biggest global hits, The Mentalist, for CBS. Most recently, he executive produced and directed the pilot of the Apple TV+ series Suspicion starring Uma Thurman, Kunal Nayyar and Noah Emmerich, and immediately before that, Long directed the pilots of The Right Stuff for Appian Way and National Geographic/Disney+ and Amazing Stories for Amblin and Apple TV+. His series Total Chaos from writers Erin Donovan and Ken Woodruff was just picked up by Amazon/Freevee Television.
