Cast and Crew

Iain Paterson started in the film industry as an assistant editor in England. He brought those skills to North America, but soon left the cutting room for the set, taking on producing duties with directors as diverse as Peter Bogdanovich and Rod Lurie; producers such as Sarah Pillsbury and Midge Sanford; and Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.His credits include Thief (FX), Line of Fire (ABC), Veritas (ABC) and numerous movies of the week for FOX, TNT and ABC.

"Wayne Malloy," portrayed by Eddie Izzard, yearns to live an extraordinary life. After bringing his traveler family to suburban Eden Falls to take over the lives of a dead yuppie couple, Wayne has proved himself adept at impersonating lawyer “Doug Rich,” and charmed his way up the corporate chain to become a partner at Panco. Wayne is driven by his aspirations to steal the American Dream and now to score “the big con,” but is it all worth it with mounting odds and resurging ghosts from his past? Not to mention evidence that his marriage and family could fracture under the stress?&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Dahlia Malloy," portrayed by Minnie Driver, is a fireball. After spending two years in a jail cell, Dahlia has taken on the matriarchic role of “Cherien Rich” with gusto. She believes that her family must stick together in order to pull off the life as “The Riches,” so she’s upset to see that lies that brought them to Eden Falls have begun to take their toll on her family. This discovery leads Dahlia on a quest for truth and honesty that is at direct odds with her husbands’ ambition.

"Cal Malloy," portrayed by Noel Fisher, is Wayne and Dahlia’s oldest son and the only Malloy to truly question and ultimately reject life as a buffer.&nbsp;He is convinced his family has taken the Riches scam too far and that their traveler souls are paying for their lifestyle.&nbsp;Cal's beliefs ultimately draw him back to his traveler roots.

"Di Di Malloy," portrayed by Shannon Woodward, is Wayne and Dahlia’s clever and outspoken teenage daughter who has become increasingly aware of her own abilities and advantages in the buffer world.&nbsp; While deeply upset by the strain buffer life puts on her family, she can’t help but excel in school and attract friends.&nbsp; This dichotomy leads to adolescent rebellion that draws from both the traveler and suburban teenage girl in Di Di.

"Sam Malloy," portrayed by Aidan Mitchell, is the youngest and quietest of the Malloy clan who takes the time to observe everything around him.&nbsp;Fiercely dedicated to his family, but also intrigued by life as a buffer, he manages to find an equilibrium that the others can not in Eden Falls.
