Yumna Marwan stars as “Adilah El Idrissi.” Drawn into a dangerous organization at a vulnerable time in her life, Adilah traveled to Syria as a young woman. Now, with her ten-year-old daughter’s life in danger from the same organization, she must navigate her way through the truth and lies around her, and balance saving her daughter with preventing a deadly attack on the U.S.

Yumna Marwan was recently seen as a co-lead in Sky Atlantic’s Little Birds alongside Juno Temple. As a much-lauded actress in the Arab world, she is known for her debut performance in Ghassan Salhab's The Valley, co-starring alongside Ali Suliman.&nbsp;Marwan’s additional credits include Mounia Akl’s debut family-drama Costa Brava, Lebanon, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and was selected as the Lebanese entry for Best International Film at the 94th Academy Awards®. Marwan also stars in Inshallah a Boy, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
