Elliot Lee was the most eye-catching of Wrexham's new signings for the 2022/23 season, arriving at the Club in July 2022 ahead of the new season. Lee hails from a footballing family, with dad Rob Lee having represented the England national football team and spending nearly a decade playing in the Premier League, and brother Olly Lee having been a former teammate of Elliot's at West Ham and Luton Town.Prior to joining Wrexham, midfielder Lee had been a youth academy graduate with West Ham but was best known for his five years with Luton, with whom he won back-to-back promotions to help the team from EFL League Two to the EFL Championship.Lee wears the number 38 jersey at Wrexham, a number he selected in tribute to former West Ham teammate Dylan Tombides, who died from cancer at age 20 in 2014.He scored the first and last goals of Wrexham's record-breaking 2022/23 promotion-winning season and continued his form at the start of the following season – earning a new contract, which was announced on New Year's Day 2024. He is now signed to the Club until the summer of 2027. Lee made more than 100 appearances in his first two seasons, scoring 31 goals and securing back-to-back promotions for the second time in his career.
