What We Do in the Shadows

Kyle Newacheck is an executive producer and director for FX’s What We Do in the Shadows. He is currently working on Happy Gilmore 2 for Netflix, starring Adam Sandler. Newacheck recently produced the feature film I’m Totally Fine, which starred Jillian Bell and Natalie Morales and was shot in just 10 days during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also directed the Netflix hit Murder Mystery, featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Additionally, Newacheck directed and produced Game Over, Man! with Adam Devine, Blake Anderson and Anders Holm, and served as an executive producer on the Netflix feature The Package.Newacheck began his career as a director, producer, writer and actor when he helped form the sketch comedy group and YouTube channel, Mail Order Comedy, with friends Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson. The group went on to co-create and star in the hit Comedy Central series Workaholics, for which Newacheck directed a majority of the episodes over its seven-season run. He also executive produced and directed Comedy Central’s Adam Devine’s House Party. In addition, he co-hosts the podcast This Is Important with fellow Workaholics creators. Beyond Workaholics, Newacheck has directed episodes of popular TV shows such as Parks &amp; Recreation, Community, Happy Endings, Idiotsitter and Ghosted.
