Before she was a vampire, "Nadja," portrayed by Natasia Demetriou, was a simple peasant girl from Antipaxos, a tiny island in the Mediterranean. Now she’s a woman of the world — and having reached the pinnacle of vampire society, she’s finding her attention drift towards humans and their strange customs. But Laszlo doesn’t share her interest in humans, and for the first time, they’re pulled in different directions. Career Highlights

Natasia Demetriou is a multi-BAFTA nominated actor, comedian and writer. For her performance as “Nadja” in FX’s award-winning comedy series What We Do in the Shadows, she has received various award nominations, including a Critics Choice Award nomination and a Hollywood Critics Association TV Award nomination. In 2021, she won the Best Actress in a Science Fiction/Fantasy Series Award at the Critics Choice Super Awards.

Demetriou starred as “Sophie” in three series of Roughcut TV’s multi-BAFTA winning comedy series Stath Lets Flats. She received a BAFTA nomination for her performance.

Additional acting credits include This Time with Alan Partridge, Eurovision, Toast of Tinseltown and more. She also voiced a role in last summer's hit feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and another in 2023's The Magician's Elephant for Netflix.

Demetriou also wrote and starred in the award-winning sketch series Ellie & Natasia for the BBC in 2022. In 2023, Demetriou received her second BAFTA nomination for her performance.

She has various other projects in development.
