Reed grew up in Pittsburgh, has a wife and two kids and a lot of books about birds. He has written on numerous shows, including Crank Yankers and Drawn Together.&nbsp;Eli grew up in Michigan and received a graduate degree in plasma physics from Caltech, but now writes childish stories for a living.&nbsp;Reed and Eli make up two thirds of Pu$$y, voted one of the top fifty bands to look out for by Dazed &amp; Confused magazine.&nbsp;

Elijah Wood plays “Ryan,” a good-hearted but troubled young man learning to make his way in the world with the help of his unique friendship with Wilfred, his neighbor’s pet dog.&nbsp;

Jason Gann plays "Wilfred," the title character that the world sees simply as a dog. His neighbor Ryan, however, sees Wilfred as a crude and somewhat surly Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit.&nbsp;

Fiona Gubelmann plays "Jenna," Wilfred’s owner and Ryan’s next-door neighbor. She works as a local news reporter and recently married Drew. To Jenna, Wilfred is simply her lovable dog.&nbsp;

Dorian Brown plays “Kristen,” Ryan's misanthropic sister. She is a single, working-mom and feels entitled to tell Ryan how to live his life.&nbsp;
