Marshall Lewy is the Chief Content Officer of Wondery. In this role, Lewy oversees Wondery's slate of global content, including notable titles like Hysterical, Dr. Death, Business Wars and Baby, This Is Keke Palmer. To date, more than 60 Wondery shows have reached number one on the Apple podcast charts. Lewy's team is comprised of audio producers, development executives, sound designers, writers and producers responsible for producing dozens of award-winning shows and thousands of podcast episodes each year globally, including local originals in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Mexico and Brazil. The work has been recognized globally, with highlights including 10 Webbys, eight iHeart Podcasts Awards, six Gracies, three Arias and 18 Ambies, more than any other podcast studio. Six of the Ambies celebrated Wondery originals, including Podcast of the Year twice for 9/12 and Dying for Sex, along with the true-crime favorite Suspect, business rivalry podcast Business Wars and the in-depth sports show The Lead. Lewy also works closely with Wondery's key partners and creators, including Jason and Travis Kelce (New Heights), MrBallen, Guy Raz (How I Built This) and Tinkercast (Wow in the World).Lewy also oversees Wondery's podcast-to-television/film pipeline, with an industry-leading seven series adapted for scripted television or streaming series, where Lewy also serves as an executive producer. These adaptations include Dr. Death (Peacock), The Shrink Next Door (Apple TV+), WeCrashed (Apple TV+), American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez (FX) and several more in development.The Harvard and Columbia graduate wrote and directed two feature films, Blue State and California Solo, and was a partner at Adaptive Studios, where he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy® in 2015 for HBO's Project Greenlight and produced the Netflix film Coin Heist.
