Rescue Me

Kerry Orent has served since 2003 as executive producer on FX’s hit firefighter drama Rescue Me, starring Denis Leary. In 2005, the show was honored by the Producers Guild of America with a Visionary Award, which acknowledges producers whose work demonstrates a unique or uplifting quality.&nbsp;He is also an Executive Producer on the 2011 feature comedy The Normals as well as a Line Producer on the forthcoming theatrical Twylight Zones that’s written, produced and directed by The Sopranos creator David Chase and stars James Gandolfini and Brad Garrett. His other recent feature producer credits include Duplicity, directed by Tony Gilroy and starring Julia Roberts and Clive Owen; and the Academy Award®-winning Michael Clayton, starring George Clooney, Tilda Swinton and Tom Wilkinson and also directed by Gilroy. That film received seven Oscar nominations in all, with one going to Orent for Best Picture.&nbsp;Orent’s film credits as Executive Producer include Definitely, Maybe, starring Ryan Reynolds, Rachel Weisz, Abigail Breslin and Kevin Kline; Kate &amp; Leopold, starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman, under the direction of James Mangold; Rounders, starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton; Jonathan Glazer’s Birth, starring Nicole Kidman; and Fred Schepisi’s It Runs in the Family, starring Michael Douglas and Kirk Douglas. Additionally, Orent was a producer on James Gray’s crime thriller The Yards, starring Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix and Charlize Theron.&nbsp;Among the films on which Orent served as Co-Producer are James Mangold’s Cop Land, with Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Harvey Keitel and Ray Liotta; the David O. Russell comedy Flirting with Disaster, starring Ben Stiller, Patricia Arquette, Alan Alda and Lily Tomlin; James Gray’s feature directorial debut Little Odessa, featuring Tim Roth and Edward Furlong; John Duigan’s The Journey of August King; and Phillip Haas’ The Music of Chance.&nbsp;Orent’s other television producing credits include the 2010 AMC series Rubicon, on which he served as Co-Executive Producer; the 2008 Fox series Canterbury’s Law starring Julianna Margulies; and the 2001-2002 ABC half-hour The Job that starred Denis Leary. Earlier in his career, Orent served as post-production supervisor on films including as The Pelican Brief, Reversal of Fortune, Peggy Sue Got Married and The Cotton Club.&nbsp;

Denis Leary is "Tommy Gavin." Tommy has come to terms with his involvement in his nephew's accident, but Damian's haunting presence is a constant reminder that one false move could be Tommy's last.
