Jeremy Allen White stars as “Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto.” The youngest child of the Berzatto family, Carmy’s rise to fame in the fine dining world was astronomical. He recently returned home to Chicago in the wake of his brother’s death and is faced with how hard it is to evolve in the place where you began. Wildly driven, Carmy throws himself into work in order to avoid reckoning with his grief and trauma. Fortunately, there’s an insane amount of work to do as he tries to keep his family’s sandwich shop afloat.

Career Highlights

White is one of the breakout stars of the SHOWTIME hit series Shameless. He can next be seen in the lead role of the highly anticipated FX series The Bear. White was also recently seen in Amazon Prime’s Homecoming opposite Bobby Cannavale and Julia Roberts.

White’s film credits include Antonio Campos’ Afterschool in which he starred alongside Ezra Miller, The Time Being opposite Frank Langella and the upcoming You Can’t Win opposite Michael Pitt. Most recently, he can be seen as the male lead of the independent feature After Everything opposite Maika Monroe and in Gerardo Naranjo’s English debut, Viena and the Fantomes, a film about life on the road with an 80s punk band, where he stars opposite Dakota Fanning.
