"Sandy Walker," portrayed by Rya Ingrid Kihlstedt, is Eric’s hardworking middle-class mother who has been raising Eric and his brothers on her own. She is warm, sharp and loves her sons very much, and has a deep gratitude and appreciation for Eric who she relies on considerably to keep their home together.
Kihlstedt can most recently be seen recurring on Cinemax’s Jett written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez, The CW’s Charmed, season three of Freeform’s hit series The Bold Type and guest starring in Paramount Network’s Yellowstone starring Kevin Costner.
In addition, Kihlstedt has recurred on Hulu’s Cardinal, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Amazon’s One Mississippi, Dick Wolf’s miniseries Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders opposite Edie Falco and Julianne Nicholson, Showtime’s Ray Donovan, Amazon’s Bosch and was a series regular on NBC’s Heroes Reborn.

Recent film credits include the lead roles in independent features The Untold Story and The Atticus Institute, as well as a supporting role in After Everything, written and directed by Hannah Marks and starring Jeremy Allen White, Maika Monroe and Marisa Tomei. Kihlstedt was also recently seen in The Nowhere Inn written by Carrie Brownstein and St. Vincent, directed by Bill Benz.
