Archer

Archer, voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, feels like his old self again. He’s the unquestioned best spy in the world, still able to tease and undermine Lana who, best of all, is stuck at the office and won’t be shooting down all his brilliant ideas in the field. He’ll be better than ever! But after a couple early setbacks, Archer finds himself under more scrutiny and stuck partnering with agents he thinks are untrustworthy, and he’s not talking about Gillette. But he’s also not NOT talking about Gillette.

Career Highlights

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, H. Jon Benjamin has garnered an extensive list of credits as a writer, producer and actor in some of television’s most entertaining series.In addition to starring as the title role of “Sterling Archer” in FX’s Emmy®-winning animated hit Archer, which earned him a 2010 Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Voice-Over Performance,” he also voices the lead character of “Bob Belcher” in FOX’s Bob’s Burgers.Benjamin is perhaps best known for providing the voice of “Dr. Katz’s” lazy son “Ben” in Comedy Central’s animated hit series Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist from 1995-1999. In 2006, he co-created (with David Cross) the Comedy Central animated series Freak Show and provided the voice of “Tuck.” In 2009, Benjamin teamed up again with the network as a writer and co-producer of Important Things with Demetri Martin, a sketch comedy show in which he appeared as numerous characters. Benjamin also created and starred in Comedy Central’s Jon Benjamin Has a Van, which was nominated for a 2012 Writers Guild Award for “Best Comedy/Variety Series.”&nbsp;Benjamin most recently appeared in Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later and Master of None. His other credits include Home Movies for Cartoon Network, Family Guy for FOX and Assy McGee, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and The Venture Bros. for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

Lana, voiced by Aisha Tyler, is enthusiastic to take over as head of The Agency and implement her new plan: taking on missions that make money and make the world a better place. With her as the steady hand in the office and Archer as the top agent in the field, they will be a formidable force. Unless Archer does what Archer normally does and ruin everything. Hmm… Maybe Lana needs to go back in the field. Maybe she’s overthinking it. Maybe this is going to be a disaster.

Cyril, voiced by Chris Parnell, couldn’t be happier that Lana has become head of The Agency. With her new focus on making money, he can use his superior accounting skills to make The Agency profitable. That also means he will be needed in the office more and can finally say goodbye to dangerous field work. But with Lana being in the office more, someone is going to need to pick up her slack in the field. And Cyril being an experienced agent, it would be cheaper to send him rather than hiring a new agent. Damn you, math!

Lana has become head of The Agency and Cheryl/Carol, voiced by Judy Greer, has become her assistant. It turns out all those years working for Malory were invaluable as Cheryl/Carol knows all the intricacies of running a spy agency and where the bodies are buried. Well, maybe not all of them, but that’s okay because she loves a good surprise!

Pam, voiced by Amber Nash, enjoys being a field agent, but Lana needs her to reprise her old role as head of The Agency’s Human Resources department. Pam is confident that she can do both jobs, but will the others question her when the quality of her work starts to decline? Better question, will they even notice?

Krieger, voiced by Lucky Yates, was very successful at hiding his experiments from IIA and felt he was on the verge of several breakthroughs, but now that Lana has taken over The Agency, she’s taken a bigger interest in his work. She wants Krieger to only do experiments that are cost-effective, practical, and... ugh, ethical.

Ray, voiced by Adam Reed, is finding the others are still a bit skeptical on where his allegiances lie, which makes him a bit bitter. Was keeping them all out of jail and setting The Agency up for success not enough? Sure, he had to pretend to double-cross them, but pretending and double-crossing is like... ninety-five percent of what spies do!

With Lana spending more time in the office and less time in the field, The Agency needed a new agent. Luckily, they found Zara, voiced by Natalie Dew, a talented spy capable of going toe-to-toe with the most evil international villains while simultaneously keeping Archer in line. Zara only has to be better than Archer in every aspect of their job, and Archer’s competitive jealousy keeps him focused on the mission. She’s even able to get the best of him in their many arguments, which begs the question: who really is the greatest spy in the world?

Voiced by guest star Kayvan Novak, Fabian Kingsworth (head of IIA) has taken control of The Agency and is making Archer’s life hell by one-upping him at every turn and sending the gang on wildly impractical missions.&nbsp; Are the missions just torture for Archer, or is Fabian hiding a more sinister motive?
