Jordan Firstman stars as “Malcolm,” Evan’s fun-loving, spontaneous and occasionally toxic boyfriend. Now that Evan has decided he wants to be with Malcolm, these two find themselves giving a go at a real relationship, after years of on-and-off dating. Malcolm is desperate to pull Evan’s attention away from the school, but that often proves quite difficult.

Jordan Firstman is a true multi-hyphenate with an impressive list of projects as a writer, producer, director, actor and musician.Most recently, Firstman released his debut comedy album, Secrets, based on his highly popular Instagram bit where strangers submit their deepest, darkest secrets and he makes a song out of them. The album was released April 11, 2025 via Capitol Records.He will next be seen starring in Rachel Sennott's untitled series for HBO. He is joined by an impressive cast including Odessa A'zion, Josh Hutcherson and True Whitaker.Firstman received rave reviews for his star turn in Sebastián Silva's Rotting in the Sun, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and was later released by Mubi. Other acting credits include a splashy role in the Netflix comedy You People opposite Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy, FX's DAVE and the Disney+/Marvel series Ms. Marvel.He has written for HBO Max's Search Party, The Other Two and Netflix's Big Mouth, where he served as a voice actor and consulting producer. Firstman also directed multiple episodes of the Peabody-nominated Sundance TV series This Close. Additionally, he wrote, directed and starred in the short film Call Your Father, available to stream on the Criterion Channel. His short film, Men Don't Whisper, which he directed, starred in and co-wrote, premiered at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival and was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick Premiere. In August 2025, Firstman will begin production in New York City on his feature film, Club Kid, which he wrote and will direct and star in, with Alex Coco, Galen Core and Olmo Schnabel set to produce.On the brand partnerships side, Firstman wrote and starred alongside Donatella Versace in a Versace short film for Vogue. He appeared in Thom Browne's Spring Collection's short film and show and starred in advertisements for Target, Signal, Depop, Reebok, Bumble and Spotify.
